Carlyle and EBRD Agree to Sell Romanian Gas Producer Black Sea Oil & Gas

On 29 October 2026, Carlyle Group and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development agreed to sell Black Sea Oil & Gas to Mazarine Energy, subject to regulatory approval. The sale price was not disclosed. The producer supplies approximately 10% of Romania’s natural gas needs.
